3 Things to Know About Giants 6th Round Pick Adam Bisnowaty

Here are three quick hits about the New York Giants 6th round selection, OT Adam Bisnowaty.

1. He does a good job of keeping his quarterback clean.

Bisnowaty, who said he plays with a mean streak, really does put up a fight when it comes to keeping his quarterback clean. Per B/R’s Matt Miller, the hulking offensive tackle allowed just one sack last year. Miller also praised Bisnowaty for his consistency in his angles and for finishing his blocks with power.

2. He’s won a few honors and accolades.

He was a 2016 first-team All-ACC selection, an honor that is bestowed on players follwing a vote by league coaches. He was also a second-team All-ACC pick, as voted by the  media and the  runner-up for the ACC coaches’ Jacobs Blocking Trophy with 15 points, one point behind repeat winner Roderick Johnson of Florida State.

3. He was a versatile high school athlete.

Bisnowaty participated in wrestling and track and field at Fox Chapel High School. He also played defensive tackle in high school, earning all-conference honors with 49.5 tackles, three forced fumbles and two blocked kicks on defense.
