Reports: Giants Defense Gets Two More Pieces Back

Defensive ends Wynn, Odighizuwa Reportedly Back on Board

The New York Giants might have lost defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins, but it sounds like two more key pieces who last year provided depth are returning.

ESPN reported that defensive end Kerry Wynn, a restricted free agent who last week drew attention from New England, reported to the Giants’ facility today to sign his $1.797 million tender.

NJ Advanced Media is also reporting that defensive end Owa Odighizuwa, who earlier this month raised some eyebrows when he announced on Twitter that he was taking some time to “get away from the game” will indeed be participating in the workouts this week.

The Giants opened their offseason program Tuesday, starting with the two-week Phase 1 portion involving strength training.
