Report: Giants to Visit Washington on Thanksgiving Night

Giants to make first Thanksgiving day appearance since 2009.

Forget about turkey being the main attraction on Thanksgiving; the NFL reportedly has something even better on the menu if you’re a New York Giants fan.

That something, per a report by the Washington Post, is a November 23 Thanksgiving night showdown in the nation’s capital between Washington and the New York Giants.

The game will be the Giants’ first Thanksgiving appearance since 2009 against Denver and their 15th overall in franchise history.

Per the New York Post, that Week 12 game between Washington and the Giants is also reportedly the first of the two annual meetings between division rivals.

It is also the first time the Giants and Washington will meet on Thanksgiving.

The Giants are 98-66-4 against Washington in the all-time regular-season series which dates back to 1932 when Washington was first known as the Braves.

The full 2017 NFL schedule will be released at 8PM ET Thursday.
