The New York Giants continue to tweak their 90-man training camp roster, signing tight end Garrett Dickerson and waiving wide receiver Keeon Johnson and defensive backs Jeremiah McKinnon and Mike Jones.
Dickerson, 6-3 and 248 pounds, played his college ball at Northwestern University following an athletic career at Bergen Catholic High School, where he set school tight end records with 52 catches, 776 yards and 10 touchdowns. He had been part of the Giants rookie minicamp last month.
Johnson was originally signed as a rookie free agent by the Giants on May 11, 2017. He suffered a broken foot during training camp and was placed on injured reserve on Aug. 19.
McKinnon was signed to the Giants’ practice squad on Nov. 28, 2017, and to a reserve/futures contract on Jan. 1 of this year. He has also been with Dallas, Tampa Bay and Washington, but has never played in a regular-season game.
Jones was a rookie from agent from Temple who was signed on May 8.
